Welcome to the Buttes Re-siding Project Web Page!
The Buttes Condominium Association is located at the 9,500ft base of the Crested Butte Mountain Resort Ski area in Mount Crested Butte Colorado.
In July of 2014, the Buttes owners voted to proceed with a major project to renovate and re-side the building exteriors in 2015. Precision Construction Inc. (DBA David Gross Fine Homes) has begun to mobilize and the project is set to begin by April 20, 2015. Completion of the project is scheduled no later than November 2015.
The scope of the project includes:
At this time, we do not have a definitive schedule of when specific Buttes units will be impacted by the construction. As you can imagine, the speed at which the project proceeds is dependent upon a wide variety of factors ranging from the weather to the discovery of unknown issues which may lie beneath the current siding. While all condos will be accessible during this summer of construction, it is imperative that all owners, guests, and renter’s are made aware of the possible impacts of the construction process.
The list of potential Construction impacts include:
· Construction “noise” from 7:30am – 6:00pm
· Parking Lot Congestion
· Extended Interruption of TV and Internet service
· Construction Debris and dumpsters around the buildings
· Limited or no access to 2nd floor balconies
· Temporary closure of entry / exit doors to the units
While we will make every effort to minimize these impacts it is imperative that you MAKE CERTAIN THAT YOUR GUESTS AND/OR RENTAL MANAGEMENT COMPANIES ARE AWARE OF THESE POTENTIAL IMPACTS.
The board is working hard to make the re-siding project an economical, quality project, that is completed on time.
The end result should be a low maintenance exterior with a beautiful “new” look!

The Buttes Board of Director’s
